**UPDATE**
————————————————————————————————–
We were in contact with the producer from MTV films this past weekend. The film, which is titled “The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday. Unfortunately, they were unable to use the local West Virginia bands’ submitted material for the film. As stated before, it was ultimately up to the music supervisor at MTV Films, and there simply wasn’t enough room. The bright side is, the producer is pitching a new reality series for CMT, and he will be in charge of all the material. He is interested in using the submitted material for this project, as well as more material in the future from West Virginia bands. We will keep everyone updated as this develops. We are not accepting any submissions for these projects yet, so stay tuned. If you have any questions concerning this project, please send an e-mail to: info@wvbandscene.com
